ROOM SELECTION – We want you to have the best experience possible, so please contact us if you have difficulty with stairs, allergies, or any other special need so that we may suggest specific rooms for you to consider.
We will do our best to accommodate special room requests, however, cannot guarantee a specific room. On rare occasions, we must switch rooms but always to a room of equal or greater value.
DISCOUNTS – There is a $15/night discount built into our online reservation system. When using any online booking service such as Expedia, Booking.com, etc., the daily rate will be higher. Online booking service websites often “mimic” the look of our site, so if you are uncertain please use the link on our website or call 860.672.6884 to make your reservation.
POOCHES – Dogs are welcomed in our Country Lodge Building. If you are travelling with your beloved pet, please ensure you reserve a Country Lodge room. There is a one-time charge of $25 per dog. Dogs are not allowed alone in the room for extended periods of time.
ROOM BLOCKS – When reserving 5 or more rooms, a 50% nonrefundable deposit is due upon booking. The remaining 50% nonrefundable balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. We do not hold room blocks without the nonrefundable deposit. Please call 860.672.6884 to discuss details if you are reserving multiple rooms.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES – Check-In is 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. A later check-in is no problem, just call or email us and let us know so that we may email you the late check-in procedure. Check-Out is 11:00 a.m.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
(Cornwall Inn) – Cancellations made at least ten (10) days prior to arrival date, incur no penalty. Graduation, Alumni and Parents Weekends for Kent, South Kent, Marvelwood and Hotchkiss Schools require thirty (30) days cancellation notice. Once your reservation is beyond the cancellation period the amount due is charged to the credit card on file and no refunds or credits will be issued. Early departures are subject to full amount of reservation. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected], if you booked directly with us or through our website. (DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL). If you used an online booking agent (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.), you must cancel through them to avoid penalty charges. You will receive an email confirmation of your cancellation.
(Kent Main Street Hideaway) – Reservations for five or more nights require (30) days cancellation notice. Once your reservation is beyond the cancellation period the amount due is charged to the credit card on file and no refunds or credits will be issued.
